Experience

I have been in Financial services longer than I care to remember!

After 10 years with Scottish Equitable, latterly as Pension Consultant for the Birmingham Office, I joined the National Accounting firm BDO, as Managing Director, to set up and run their independent IFA business for the Midlands region.

In 2003 after 14 very successful years with BDO, along with long standing colleagues, Anne Windle and Pat Chaplain,  I left to establish Heritage.

Soon after the new venture, I was awarded the Financial Adviser publication Industry Awards of Group Pension Adviser of the Year and overall IFA of the year. I have also appeared on Chanel 4 daytime TV commentating on financial matters.

Although covering the full advice spectrum, I specialise in overall strategic planning, in particular, in conjunction with owner managed businesses, SSAS/ SIPP advice and intergenerational wealth planning strategies.
